Our story...
County Jewellers was founded by Julian Middleton in 2001 in Royal Wootton Bassett & in the company's humble beginnings, it was renowned for providing an excellent watch repair service, which we pride ourselves on today, still performed by Julian & also Liam Bird, who has served 13 years to date & manages the Marlborough Branch & works alongside Jo, who has excellent customer service skills, focusing on high-end watches, both in repairs and sales.
Torston Middleton now owns and runs the business alongside Julian and has expanded the company with additional stores in Calne, Melksham and Marlborough.
Gabrielle Dus who manages the Royal Wootton Bassett Branch has been working with the company for 8 years and has a wealth of knowledge and expertise with all aspects of jewellery.
Gabrielle's mother Mandy Lal also works in the Royal Wootton basset store and started work with us in 2023, learning the industry and focusing on customer service, alongside Channel who is our training jewellery sales assistant.
Ben Henshaw & Aida Asmi are our full-time goldsmiths. Ben Joined the company in 2021 and carries out the jewellery repairs, makes commission jewellery and manufactures bespoke jewellery. Aida Joined us in 2023 and is performing jewellery repairs and is learning the art of bespoke jewellery manufacture.
A new shining additional store in Melksham was opened in Dec 2023, where Keanu is the Manager, working alongside Clare who is a fantastic sales assistant. We continue to serve the expanding town, serving as traditional jewellers for 40 years.
